Job summary

Windsor Communities is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Service Tech II for The Martin in Seattle, WA. The role requires hands-on expertise in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and carpentry within a high-rise community.

The position includes a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies and a Tuesday–Saturday shift. Compensation starts at $25.03–$31.28 hourly, with annual starting compensation of $52,062–$65,062, plus benefits and continuing training

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with multifamily residential, commercial or hotel maintenance.
  • Familiarity with building safety systems including the fire systems (sprinklers/alarms).
  • Ability to use smart devices and property management software for maintaining accurate records and work order completion.
  • Advanced knowledge of hand tools and basic power tools.
  • Support the company's values and cultures by providing exceptional service to teammates and residents.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and apply preventative measures with apartment homes, common areas, mechanical rooms, plumbing, electrical and appliance areas.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance systems in a high-rise community.
  • Respond to after-hours and weekend emergency requests on a rotating on-call schedule.
  • Use tools and software to document work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records.

Job description

Apartment Maintenance Service Tech II | The Martin - Seattle, WA

The Martin is a high-rise style community consisting of 188 apartment homes.

Prior multi-family apartment maintenance experience is a plus. Must have intermediate competency with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and carpentry. Must be available to be part of a rotating on call schedule for after hours and weekend emergency response. Set schedule for this role is Tuesday - Saturday.

Compensation
  • Hourly: Starting at $25.03 - $31.28 per hour, depending on years of experience, tenure, and location.
  • Annual Starting Comp: $52,062 - $65,062.

Requirements
  • Site specific certifications such as:
    • EPA Type II preferred or ability to become certified within 90 days of start date
    • CPO (Certified Pool Operator) preferred or ability to become certified within 90 days of start date
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, some weekend work and ability to participate in the on-call rotations
