Job summary

The Martin, a Windsor Communities high-rise in Seattle, seeks an Apartment Maintenance Service Tech II to service 188 homes. The role requires at least 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience and hands-on skills with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.

You’ll participate in a rotating on-call schedule, with a Tuesday–Saturday shift, and contribute to preventative maintenance, safety compliance, and resident satisfaction. Windsor offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in multifamily, commercial, or hotel settings.
• Experience with building safety systems, including fire systems.
• Ability to use smart devices and property management software for records and work orders.
• Advanced knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations, including after hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on apartments and common areas.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and safety issues.
• Document work orders and update records in PM software.

Apartment Maintenance Service Tech II | The Martin - Seattle, WA

The Martin is a high-rise style community consisting of 188 apartment homes.

Prior multi-family apartment maintenance experience is a plus. Must have intermediate competency with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and carpentry. Must be available to be part of a rotating on call schedule for after hours and weekend emergency response. Set schedule for this role is Tuesday - Saturday.

Compensation

• Hourly: Starting at $25.03 - $31.28 per hour, depending on years of experience, tenure, and location.
• Annual Starting Comp: $52,062 - $65,062.

Your Skills

• Minimum of 2 years' experience with multifamily residential, commercial or hotel maintenance
• Familiarity with building safety systems including the fire systems (sprinklers/alarms)
• Ability to use smart devices and property management software for maintaining accurate records and work order completion
• Advanced knowledge of hand tools and basic power tools
• Support the company's values and cultures by providing exceptional service to teammates and residents
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and apply preventative measures with apartment homes, common areas, mechanical rooms, plumbing, electrical and appliance areas

Requirements

• Site specific certifications such as:
  • EPA Type II preferred or ability to become certified within 90 days of start date
  • CPO (Certified Pool Operator) preferred or ability to become certified within 90 days of start date
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, some weekend work and ability to participate in the on-call rotations
