Job summary

Windsor Addison - Dallas, TX is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Service Tech II with strong experience in apartment maintenance, HVAC, and related trades to service our mid-rise community of 438 units.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and manage work orders using our property management software. The role requires on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergencies and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of multifamily/commercial/hotel maintenance experience.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting and carpentry skills.
• On-call rotating schedule for after-hours and weekend emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs across apartments, common areas and mechanical rooms.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance systems.
• Document work orders and maintain accurate records using property management software.

Apartment Maintenance Service Tech II | Windsor Addison - Dallas, TX

This site is a mid-rise apartment style community with 438 units.

Summary

Successful Service Technicians can come from a variety of backgrounds including apartment maintenance, HVAC, general labor, construction, hotel, general building maintenance, and work order management. Must have intermediate competency with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and carpentry. Must be available to be part of a rotating on-call schedule for after hours and weekend emergency response.

Compensation

Our company considers a range of factors including education and experience when determining base compensation.

Hourly: Starting at $21.02 - $27.06 per hour, depending on years of experience, tenure, and location.

Annual Starting Comp: $43,721 - $56,284.

Skills

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with multifamily residential, commercial or hotel maintenance.
• Familiarity with building safety systems including the fire systems (sprinklers/alarms).
• Ability to use smart devices and property management software for maintaining accurate records and work order completion.
• Advanced knowledge of hand tools and basic power tools.
• Support the company’s values and cultures by providing exceptional service to teammates and residents.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and apply preventative measures with apartment homes, common areas, mechanical rooms, plumbing, electrical and appliance areas.

Requirements

• Site specific certifications such as:
  • EPA Type II preferred or ability to become certified within 90 days of start date.
  • CPO (Certified Pool Operator) preferred or ability to become certified within 90 days of start date.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, some weekend work and ability to participate in the on-call rotations.
