Job summary

Lighthouse-Property-Management is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician I in Hendersonville, TN. This full-time role handles day-to-day maintenance, preventive tasks, and basic repairs to keep the community safe and ready for occupancy.

You’ll learn and grow toward higher tech levels, with on-the-job training and support for HVAC and CPO certifications. You will work outdoors in varied weather and participate in after-hours calls as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willing to become HVAC certified; company pays for classes and test.
• Willing to become CPO certified; company pays for classes and test.
• Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, or snow.
• Able to work scheduled hours, weekends, and OT when needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily service requests and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot appliances and turn vacant apartments into move-in ready homes.
• Perform plumbing repairs: fix leaks, replace faucets, and minor lines.
• Handle electrical tasks: outlets, switches, breakers, and lighting.
• Paint, prep walls, doors, and fixtures; repair cabinets and molding.
• Maintain grounds and clean mechanical rooms; assist with rodent control and snow removal.
• Track inventory and complete work orders with supervisor updates.
