Job summary

Bryten, based in Goodyear, AZ, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team at The Farmhouse on Estrella. You’ll perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and make-ready tasks to ensure a safe, clean community for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in apartment or facilities maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance.
• HVAC certification preferred; additional certifications are a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests and maintenance work orders promptly and professionally.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, drywall, painting, and other systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on buildings and equipment.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents (make-ready and turns).
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings and grounds for safety and upkeep.
• Assist with on-call maintenance and emergency response.
• Maintain records of work orders, inspections, inventory, and activities.
• Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and staff.
