Job summary

GCI Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Legacy Mount Pleasant community in Mt. Pleasant, SC. You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor to preserve quality, appearance, and functionality while delivering exceptional service to residents.

Responsibilities include responding to service requests, troubleshooting repairs, and preparing homes with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance work. A strong emphasis on safety and resident satisfaction is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of multifamily apartment maintenance experience is required.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, appliances, HVAC repairs, and building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and safety of the community for residents and guests.
• Respond to service requests promptly with strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Prepare apartment homes for new residents by completing repairs related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, pools, and building exteriors.
• Partner with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure residents are proud to call the community home.
