Job summary
GCI Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Legacy Ballantyne community in Charlotte, NC. You will help maintain a safe, welcoming environment and address a wide range of residential service requests.
The role requires hands-on repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance areas, plus collaboration with the Maintenance Supervisor to uphold an exceptional resident experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years in multifamily apartment maintenance.
- Experience repairing plumbing, electrical, carpentry items, building exteriors and appliances.
- Dedication to exceeding customer needs with strong relationship skills.
- Demonstrate thoroughness, self-motivation and organization in tasks.
- Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including evenings, weekends and on-call hours.
- EPA certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the overall appearance of the community and safety for residents.
- Respond to residential service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare apartment homes for rent by performing repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, and appliances.
- Collaborate with Maintenance Supervisor to uphold a prideful community for residents.
