Job summary

GCI Residential, a luxury lease-up community operator, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Legacy Patriots Point in Mount Pleasant, SC. You will maintain appearance, safety, and operations of the community while resolving resident requests with strong troubleshooting skills.

Join a growing team and participate in apartment turns and repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and pool maintenance, collaborating with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure exceptional resident

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• EPA certification (or willingness to obtain) and substantial experience in making HVAC related repairs.
• A minimum of 2 years in multifamily apartment maintenance.
• Knowledge and experience repairing plumbing, electrical, carpentry items, building exteriors and appliances.
• Dedication to exceeding the needs of all customers with an ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Demonstrate thoroughness, self-motivation and organization when accomplishing tasks.
• Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including evenings, weekends and on-call hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the overall appearance, cleanliness, and safety of the community and grounds.
• Respond promptly and professionally to resident service requests using strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Perform apartment turns and complete repairs related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, pool maintenance, and building exteriors.
• Partner with the Maintenance Supervisor to uphold community standards and create an exceptional resident experience.
• Contribute to a positive team environment focused on quality service and operational excellence.
