Job summary

LR Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our fast-growing property management team in Michigan. The role involves general repairs, preventative maintenance, and servicing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry to keep apartments in top condition.

The successful candidate will be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work with residents and on-call shifts. A valid driver’s license and HS diploma are required; 1–3 years’ maintenance experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of verifiable general maintenance experience.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to accommodate a flexible schedule, including weekends and on-call.
• HS diploma or GED; ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Full maintenance of apartments prior to new residents moving in.
• Repairing and improving vacant and occupied apartments.
• Completing resident service requests in a timely manner.
• Carpentry, plumbing, and painting tasks.
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks and move in/out inspections.
• Maintain inventory of parts and keep shop clean and organized.
• Support maintenance of common areas and exterior grounds including snow removal.
