Job summary

BeMore Staffing is seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians for temp and temp-to-hire roles at apartment communities in Virginia Beach. Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience in maintenance, construction, plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs.

HVAC experience or EPA certification is strongly encouraged. Responsibilities include general maintenance, repairing building systems, delivering excellent resident service, and preparing units for move-ins.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification preferred but not required (EPA certification is a plus).
• Minimum of 6 months of maintenance experience in an apartment community or similar environment.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation required.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks, including basic electrical, plumbing, appliance repairs, carpentry, masonry, and painting
• Repair and maintain building structures, such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors, cabinets, walls, and exterior areas
• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients, residents, and team members
• Respond promptly and professionally to resident service requests
• Prepare units for new move-ins, ensuring all standards are met
• Complete annual preventative maintenance tasks as scheduled
• May help assist with grounds as needed
• Assist with special projects as assigned by management
