Gaines Investment Trust is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician for Mission at La Villita Apartments in Irving, TX. You’ll handle resident service requests and maintain apartment systems to keep residents comfortable.

Ideal applicants have mechanical aptitude, experience with building maintenance, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a stable, family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience repairing and maintaining building systems and appliances.
• Ability to diagnose and address maintenance and safety concerns.
• Proven reliability and detail-oriented approach to tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and troubleshoot maintenance issues.
• Repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and other apartment systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents.
• Inspect apartments, common areas, and building systems.
• Identify and address maintenance and safety concerns.
• Maintain tools, equipment, supplies, and work areas.
• Provide professional and courteous service to residents.
