Job summary

Gaines Investment Trust in Dallas, TX seeks a hands-on Maintenance Technician for Tuscany Square Apartments. You will repair and maintain plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and other systems, perform preventative maintenance, and prep units for new residents.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, dependable work ethic, and solid communication skills. A valid driver's license and prior apartment maintenance or skilled-trade experience are a plus; duties include on-site repairs

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience repairing and maintaining equipment or property.

• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Previous apartment maintenance or skilled trade experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and troubleshoot maintenance issues.
• Repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and other apartment systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents.
• Inspect apartments, common areas, and building systems.
• Identify and address maintenance and safety concerns.
• Maintain tools, equipment, supplies, and work areas.
• Provide professional and courteous service to residents.
