Gaines Investment Trust is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Trinity Square Apartments in Dallas, TX. You’ll respond to service requests, perform repairs, and prepare homes for new residents in a safe, professional manner.

Ideal candidates bring a hands-on approach, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A valid driver’s license is preferred, with opportunity for growth within the company’s multi-market portfolio.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Completing resident service requests promptly and professionally
• Troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and other apartment systems
• Performing general repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the community
• Preparing vacant apartments for new residents, including completing repairs and ensuring homes are move-in ready
• Inspecting apartments, common areas, and building systems for maintenance needs
• Assisting with the upkeep of community amenities, grounds, and common areas
• Identifying and reporting maintenance or safety concerns
• Maintaining tools, equipment, supplies, and work areas
• Providing professional and courteous service when interacting with residents
• Working closely with the onsite team to keep the community operating at a high standard
