Thomas Safran & Associates, Inc. is hiring experienced Apartment Maintenance Technicians for Wilshire Towers, a 283-unit community in Koreatown, Los Angeles, CA. Regular full-time schedule is Monday–Friday with flexible start and end times.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in facilities maintenance, hotel or apartment community experience.
• General maintenance, plumbing and electrical skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills and communication skills.
• Warm, outgoing personality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and turn units for move-ins (make ready).
• Complete typical apartment work orders.
• General preventative maintenance and unit inspections.
• Exterior property maintenance, sidewalk grinding and landscaping vendor supervision.
• Minor carpentry, plumbing, electrical repairs and troubleshooting.
• Replacement and repair of household appliances and items (i.e. refrigerator, stoves, sinks, drains, toilets).
• Opportunity to do basic welding, minor HVAC repair and special projects.
• Light cleaning and pickup of grounds in accordance with safety and sanitizing protocols.
