Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform custodial and general maintenance across a property, keeping common areas clean and exterior spaces well-maintained.

The role involves grounds work, basic landscaping, making-ready units, operating power washers and floor care equipment, and assisting with pool maintenance. On-call responsiveness and 24–48 hour task completion are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• At least 1 year of maintenance or related experience.
• General knowledge in skilled trades including construction/installation, repair, drywall, basic carpentry, and make-ready.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular custodial duties and maintain common areas.
• Complete grounds work and trash removal as directed.
• Clean breezeways, power wash, and wipe doors/handrails.
• Assist in make-ready units and trash outs.
• Operate equipment such as power washer, backpack blower, floor scrubbers, carpet cleaner, sweepers, and golf carts.
• Assist in pool maintenance and basic pool care.
• Respond to on-call and after-hours maintenance.
• Complete work orders within 24–48 hours and update records.
• Perform repairs to maintain aesthetics and structural integrity.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety policies.
• Report supply needs to Maintenance/Community Manager.
