Job summary

Hayman Company is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for The Aventine at Oakhurst North Community in Aurora, IL. You will maintain and repair residential units and common areas, prioritize work orders, and ensure timely responses to service requests.

You will work full-time, Monday to Friday with on-call rotation, and oversee outside contractors when needed. A valid driver's license and own tools are required. Two years of apartment maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of apartment maintenance experience.
• Own general tools and ability to perform routine tasks.
• Detail-oriented and deadline-focused.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Able to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion.
• Keep the community clean and well maintained.
• Respond to a wide variety of residential service requests using troubleshooting skills in a timely and professional manner.
• Prepare apartment homes for rent.
• Maintain material and supply inventory.
• Oversee work performed by outside contractors.
• Report any unresolved maintenance issues or concerns to management.
• Work on-call hours in a weekly rotation among a staff of five.
