Job summary

Seasons at North Aurora Apartments in Aurora, IL, seeks a Full-Time Maintenance & Grounds Technician to service and repair residential units and maintain common areas. You will troubleshoot resident requests, prepare vacants, and perform seasonal grounds work to uphold a clean, welcoming property.

The role includes on-call emergency repairs, standard on-site duties Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, and opportunities to grow with a company operating 40+ communities in the region.

Qualifications

• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service to residents, teammates, and vendors.
• Proficiency in multitasking and prioritizing multiple tasks daily.
• Prior maintenance or related field experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license with clean record and auto insurance.
• Willingness to attend training and obtain additional certifications as needed.
• Adherence to fair housing laws, OSHA/Safety regulations, and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and promptly address a diverse range of residential service requests in a professional, timely manner.
• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy by performing repairs to return units to market-ready conditions.
• Report unresolved maintenance issues to the Property Manager for resolution.
• Perform seasonal grounds work to keep the property clean and well maintained, including debris cleanup, flower beds, lawn upkeep, and dog stations.
• Assist in keeping common areas tidy (bathrooms, hallways, fitness center, community rooms).
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks to reduce unexpected equipment or appliance failures.
• Provide on-call emergency repairs for residents in rotation.
