Job summary

UDR, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Lakeline Villas and Red Stone Ranch in Cedar Park, TX. You’ll perform multi-trade maintenance, respond to resident requests, and help keep grounds and interiors in top condition to support ready-to-occupy units.

The role requires a technical certificate or degree and at least two years in maintenance. HVAC knowledge, carpentry, and on-call rotation are a plus; pool operation certification may be needed at some locations.

Qualifications

Technical certificate and/or degree preferred.
Minimum of two years in building and mechanical maintenance including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting and drywall.
HVAC knowledge and carpentry a plus.
EPA Type II or Universal certification preferred.
Valid driver’s license and rotating on-call responsibility required.
Some locations require certification in pool operation (CPO).

Responsibilities

Respond to resident requests and repair/restore service promptly.
Maintain appearance and cleanliness of grounds, amenities, buildings and common areas.
Ensure apartments are ready for occupancy via electrical, HVAC, plumbing and other repairs.
Maintain tools, equipment and workspace; assist stocking and inventory.
Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
