Job summary

Weinstein Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Make Ready in Cedar Park, TX to handle turn/make ready tasks for vacant units and support the maintenance team. This role offers on-site work with a stable schedule and opportunities to contribute to a well-kept community.

You will perform make-ready tasks, assist with work orders, and help maintain grounds, pools, and common areas while delivering strong customer service.

Qualifications

• 1 year of apartment or residential maintenance experience.
• No HVAC certification required if willing to train and work towards cert.
• EPA certification (Type II or Universal) is a plus.
• Strong customer service mindset.
• Able to work independently while being a reliable team member.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Complete turn/make ready process of vacant apartments.
• Assist team with maintenance work orders as needed.
• Maintain property grounds on a daily basis.
• Help maintain overall appearance of the community including amenities and pools.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly.

Maintenance Technician - Make Ready Schedule

• Full-time: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (40 hours/week)
• Participation in a rotating emergency on-call schedule with the team

What You'll Be Doing as a Maintenance Technician

• Complete turn/make ready process of vacant apartments
• Assist team with maintenance work orders as needed
• Work with the team to maintain property grounds on a daily basis
• Help maintain the overall appearance of the community, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly

What We're Looking For In Our Maintenance Technicians

• At least 1 year of apartment or residential maintenance experience
• No HVACcertification required if you are willing to train and work towards getting certified
• EPA certification (Type II or Universal) and hands-on HVAC troubleshooting / repair experience is a plus!
• Strong customer service mindset and pride in your work
• Ability to work independently while being a reliable team player
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing tasks

Physical & Technical Requirements of a Maintenance Technician

• Reliable transportation
• Comfortable using computers and mobile devices (Outlook, work order systems, etc.)
• Ability to drive a golf cart
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work indoors/outdoors year-round
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Background check required
