Weinstein Properties in Cedar Park, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Make Ready to join our team. This full-time role offers competitive pay, on-call compensation, and a quarterly bonus, with benefits such as PTO, paid holidays, and a 401(k) match.

The successful candidate will perform turn/make ready tasks on vacant apartments, support maintenance work orders, and help maintain the community grounds and amenities. HVAC certification is a plus but not required initially.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of apartment or residential maintenance experience.
• No HVAC certification required if you are willing to train and work towards getting certified
• EPA certification (Type II or Universal) and hands-on HVAC troubleshooting / repair experience is a plus!
• Strong customer service mindset and pride in your work
• Ability to work independently while being a reliable team player
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing tasks

Responsibilities

• Complete turn/make ready process of vacant apartments
• Assist team with maintenance work orders as needed
• Work with the team to maintain property grounds on a daily basis
• Help maintain the overall appearance of the community, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly

Maintenance Technician - Make Ready Schedule

• Full-time: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (40 hours/week)
• Participation in a rotating emergency on-call schedule with the team

What You'll Be Doing as a Maintenance Technician

• Reliable transportation
• Comfortable using computers and mobile devices (Outlook, work order systems, etc.)
• Ability to drive a golf cart
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work indoors/outdoors year-round
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Background check required
