Job summary

UDR, Inc. and its affiliated companies are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join Lakeline Villas and Red Stone Ranch, our Cedar Park, Texas apartment communities.

This on-site role supports our residents by performing building and mechanical maintenance, addressing requests, and maintaining a welcoming home environment. We look for a technical certificate or degree and at least two years of maintenance experience (plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, drywall).

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in building and mechanical maintenance including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting and drywall.
• HVAC and carpentry knowledge a plus.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and rotating on-call responsibility required.
• Some locations require certification in pool operation (CPO).

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident maintenance requests and restore service within standards.
• Maintain appearance and cleanliness of the community; report deficiencies and safety issues.
• Ensure apartments are ready for occupancy with maintenance and cleaning tasks.
• Maintain tools and workspace; assist in stocking inventory.
• Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
