Monarch Investment and Management Group is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Tech at Quail Hollow Apartments in Columbia, SC. This full-time, hands-on role handles make-readies, work-orders, grounds, and on-call coverage in a fast-paced residential setting.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of maintenance experience, HVAC certification, basic plumbing/electrical knowledge, and a commitment to excellent resident service. We offer bonuses, PTO, 401k, health insurance, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in maintenance or equivalent.
• EPA HVAC certification is preferred.
• Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge.
• Drier and problem solving skills, with safety training.
• Ability to provide great customer service to residents.

Responsabilités

• Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority.
• Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants.
• Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications.
• Manage and adapt a preventative maintenance program.
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed.
• Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone.
• Snow removal (when applicable).
• Pool maintenance (where applicable).
• Housing inspection experience preferred (not required).

HIRING - APARTMENT MAINTENANCE TECH (FULL-TIME)

join our awesome apartment maintenance team in Columbia South Carolina at Quail Hollow Apartments! This is a hands on job that will deal with make-readies, work-orders, grounds, and some shared on-call.

PAY

$21-24 an hour plus up to $3,000+ in bonuses throughout the year!

BONUSES POTENTIAL

$750 quarterly bonuses (based on site performance)

$100 for every week you hold the on-call phone and minimum 1.5hrs paid time for emergency calls

What You'll Be Doing:

• Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority
• Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants

The Experience We Like To See:

• 2+ years’ experience in maintenance or equivalent
• 6+ months experience in apartment maintenance
• Dry walling including painting and carpentry
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, sweeting copper pipe preferred
• Basic knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures
• Basic repair and/or diagnosis of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and garbage disposal
• Required experience in HVAC with EPA certification
• Pool experience with CPO certification preferred
• Some knowledge of water heaters both electric and gas
• Problem solving skills
• Be able to provide great customer service to our residents
• Have basic safety training or be willing to go through basic training within 30/days

This role requires pre-employment screenings, including a criminal background check and a drug screening.

Valid driver’s license required.
