National Community Renaissance (CORE) is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician (also known as Resident Services Technician or "RST") to join our Property Management team. About The Job

The Resident Services Technician reports to the Community Manager and Resident Services Supervisor. Under supervision, this role assists in maintaining the overall property.

Seeking Basic to Intermediate Skills in Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, Grounds Work

Responsibilities

1. Participate in maintenance projects and training.
2. Perform minor electrical repairs (appliances, fixtures, switches, outlets).
3. Perform minor plumbing repairs (drain clearing, fittings, faucets).
4. Replace broken fixtures, tiles, screens, appliances, blinds, locks.
5. Paint interior and exterior surfaces.
6. Assist with carpentry tasks (door fitting, window sticking, shelving).
7. Assist in custodial duties (cleaning, trash removal, window cleaning).
8. Support grounds work as needed.
9. Assist with repairs to concrete, masonry, roofing, fencing, signage.
10. Participate in standby emergency schedule with prompt response.
11. Manage inventory and maintain clean storage and work areas.
12. Complete work orders within 24 hours and report status daily.
13. Assist with apartment inspections and turnovers.
14. Maintain knowledge of vendor contracts.
15. Contribute to community appearance and safety.
16. Know water, gas shutoffs, sewer cleanouts.
17. Ensure security of storage and entrances.
18. Assist with apartment check-in/out inspections.
19. Adhere to safety standards.
20. Possess valid California Driver's License and insurance or reliable transportation.
21. Attend team events, possibly overnight stays.
22. Communicate effectively in English or English/Spanish.
23. Perform other duties as assigned.

2. Standing, walking, pushing, pulling, crawling, kneeling, twisting, carrying, working with hands, driving, operating equipment.

FSLA: Non-exempt

Pay: $22 - $24/hr
