The Service Technician position is field-based, providing hands-on servicing of boiler and cooling water systems for our customers. Responsibilities include chemical testing, monitoring, calibration, repairing chemical-feed equipment, and visual system inspections. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Perform water testing and sampling as required
• Maintain records and communicate treatment operations
• Schedule and report service and sales calls
• Diagnose water treatment equipment issues, including reverse osmosis systems and water softeners
• Assess system conditions, identify malfunctions, and implement corrective actions
• Provide preventive maintenance, including inspection, cleaning, and calibration
• Identify additional service opportunities and develop solutions for customers
• Maintain customer chemical inventory, which may involve lifting
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Motivated self-starter with relationship-building skills
• 3-5 years of mechanical or related experience
• Experience in water treatment industry is a plus
• Flexible schedule, including some weekends
• Highly organized with strong follow-through
• Ability to multitask in active environments
• Pass drug and background checks
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
• Comfort with computers, tablets, smartphones, and technology
• Physical activities including bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, and working outdoors in varying conditions
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable record
• Ability to wear protective gear and perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing ladders and handling chemicals
