Job summary

JWilliams Staffing, Inc. is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician in Panorama City, CA to join leading apartment communities. You’ll perform turns, basic repairs, and preventative maintenance across a variety of properties while expanding your skills.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of maintenance experience, proficiency in plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, and carpentry, plus a reliable work ethic and physical stamina to meet daily demands.

Qualifications

• 6+ Maintenance experience in apartment, residential, commercial, retail, or hotel environments.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, and general repairs.
• Basic hand tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Reliable and dependable work ethic.
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the role.

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment turns and make‑ready units
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, and carpentry repairs
• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance tasks
• Troubleshoot maintenance-related issues
• Assist with groundskeeping and porter duties as needed
• Support the onsite maintenance team in daily operations
• Maintain a safe and professional work environment

What It Takes to Succeed

• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the role

Preferred but Not Required

• HVAC experience
• Carpentry experience
• Appliance repair and troubleshooting experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely move in and out of a variety of positions, including sitting, standing, walking, squatting, kneeling, and reaching
• Ability to perform repetitive movements throughout the workday
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to ascend and descend stairs as needed

Pay Rate: $24.00-27.00/hr
