Job summary

Odin Properties is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician for our multifamily community. The role focuses on organizing, prioritizing, and completing resident work orders and turnovers, with emphasis on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of maintenance experience, EPA Type 2 certification is a plus, and demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in multifamily or similar environment.
• EPA Type 2 certification a plus.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and turnovers efficiently.
• Maintain a count of outstanding work orders and report to Property Manager daily.
• Keep maintenance area neat, clean, and organized.

About this position

Real Estate Development and Property Management company is seeking a talented, reliable Apartment Maintenance Technician for our multifamily apartment community. The main function of the Apartment Maintenance Technician is to organize, prioritize, and complete resident work orders and turnovers. The ideal candidate will have prior apartment maintenance experience and well-rounded skills such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.

Requirements

• Ensure work orders/turnovers are completed effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain a count of outstanding work orders and report to the Property Manager daily.
• Keep the maintenance area neat and clean.
• Work on call rotations for maintenance emergencies.
• Coordinate with the Property Manager on purchasing parts/material as needed.

Essential Skills/Abilities

• Type 2 EPA certification a plus.
• Plumbing, electrical, and carpentry experience.
• Ability to support and contribute to the team.
• Positive attitude.
• Two (2) years’ experience in previous relevant maintenance field.
• Neat, clean, and professional.
• Attendance is an imperative job function.
