Job summary

Monarch Investment And Management Group is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician in Baton Rouge, LA, to join a thriving property team. This full-time role offers a starting pay of $19–$23 per hour, plus bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.

Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8–5 with on-call rotation every other week, at 21 South at Parkview Apartments. You’ll perform general maintenance tasks, make-readies, painting, basic carpentry, and preventative repairs while upholding safety and

Qualifications

2+ years of general maintenance experience.
6+ months apartment maintenance experience.
Basic plumbing, electrical and appliance repair skills.
HVAC repair experience and EPA certification.
Pool experience and CPO certification preferred.
Strong problem-solving and customer service mindset.
Willingness to complete basic safety training within 30 days.

Responsibilities

Completing work orders efficiently and professionally.
Preparing units between residents (make-readies).
Painting, staining, and light carpentry.
Preventative maintenance and exterior repairs.
Occasional on-call coverage (one property).
Supporting housing inspections and safety protocols.
