Job summary

Monarch Investment and Management Group in Greeley, CO is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for The Pines at Southmoor.

You will perform maintenance, make ready units, handle painting, drywall, electrical and plumbing tasks, participate in on-call coverage, and enjoy benefits including health insurance, PTO, holidays, 401k match, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years maintenance experience; 6+ months in apartment maintenance.
• Drywalling, painting and carpentry experience.
• Electrical and plumbing basic knowledge.
• Experience with appliances (refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, disposer).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders promptly based on priority.
• Make Ready / Turning Units between tenants.
• Painting/Staining interior and exterior surfaces.
• Exterior structural maintenance when needed.
• Cover 24/7 emergency cell phone every 3–4 weeks.

Apartment Maintenance Technician | Greeley, CO | Full-Time | On-Site Multi-Family Housing | Pay: $20.00 per hour + Bonus

Monarch Investment and Management Group is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Pines at Southmoor in Greeley. We are offering $20/hrs plus $750 quarterly bonuses, health insurance, tool reimbursement, 2 weeks of paid time off, and 9 paid holidays.

Essential Job Duties and/or oversight Responsibilities:

• Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority
• Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants
• Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed
• Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone every 3 to 4 weeks

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ Years of experience in maintenance or equivalent
• 6+ months of experience in apartment maintenance
• Drywalling experience, including painting and carpentry
• Basic knowledge of electrical, including outlets, switches, and light fixtures
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, sweating copper pipe preferred
• Some knowledge of water heaters, both electric and gas
• Basic repair and/or diagnosis of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, and garbage disposals.
• Have good verbal and written communication
• Problem-solving skills
• Be able to provide great customer service to our residents

A physical demonstration of your ability to complete the basic job duties will be required during the interview process.

This role requires pre-employment screenings that include a criminal background check, and drug screening.
