About the role

As a member of the maintenance team, you have perhaps the most important job on our team! You are responsible for providing a safe and comfortable living space for our residents. You are often the face of the company, and residents rely on you to respond promptly to their needs. Your role is crucial in creating a great living experience for all residents.

What you'll do

• Walk the property daily to pick up trash, check for safety hazards, down spout problems, and potential issues
• Review work orders and project schedules before the daily planning meeting
• Attend the daily planning meeting and report your plan for the day
• Complete work orders efficiently and thoroughly
• Take and respond to the on-call emergency phone after hours and on weekends
• Complete make-ready orders for apartment turnovers

This position is paid hourly, with a wage range of $22 to $25 per hour depending on experience. All hours must be logged in the app when on site; unlogged hours require submission of timesheets for approval. Time off requests should be made in advance and approved by the supervisor. Emergency after-hours visits are paid at double the base rate, and overtime is paid at 1.5 times the base rate.
