Job summary

MAA Wade Park in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repair in apartment homes and facilities. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and locks, and you will follow a preventative maintenance schedule while updating residents after repairs.

Qualified candidates have 1–3 years of experience in multifamily property management or facility maintenance, HVAC experience, and EPA Type II or EPA

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in multifamily property management, facility maintenance, or mechanical repair.
• HVAC experience required.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification required at hire or within 90 days of start date.
• Valid driver's license from the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair to keep apartment homes and facilities in good order.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units, electrical appliances, outlets, and light fixtures.
• Address plumbing, carpentry, and locks; follow a planned preventative maintenance schedule.
• Follow up with residents after repairs are complete.
