Job summary

MAA is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to sustain and repair apartment homes and property facilities. You will diagnose and fix HVAC units, electrical devices, plumbing, carpentry, and locks, following a preventive maintenance plan.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of multifamily maintenance experience, HVAC know-how, EPA Type II/Universal certification (or within 90 days of hire), and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in multifamily property management, facility maintenance, and/or mechanical repair.
• HVAC experience is required.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification required at hire or within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs to apartment homes and property facilities.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units, electrical appliances, outlets, and lighting fixtures.
• Address plumbing, carpentry, and lock issues, following a preventative maintenance schedule.
• Coordinate with residents after completing repairs and ensure satisfactory outcomes.
