Job summary

WPM is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Tech for River's Gate/Carrollwood in Middle River, MD. You will respond to maintenance work orders, perform preventative maintenance, and prepare units for move-in, working well with both a team and individuals.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of site maintenance experience with strong customer service. Must have HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry skills, plus a valid driver’s license and on-call availability.

Apartment Maintenance Tech - River's Gate/Carrollwood

River's Gate/Carrollwood located in Middle River, MD, is in need of an experienced Maintenance Tech to join our service team. This person will be expected to respond to maintenance work orders, perform preventative maintenance as directed, and prepare units for move-in. Ideal candidates will work well both with a team and individually. Excellent customer service skills required; some prior experience in residential maintenance is preferred.

Apartment Service Technician
Location: Middle River, MD
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, weekly rotating on call after hours
Starting Hourly Rate: $21 (Pay based on experience and certifications)+ Phone allowance

At WPM your job as a Service Technician is to respond to maintenance repair requests, perform preventative maintenance, and prepare units for move-infor new residents. Some of your responsibilities will include:

• HVAC troubleshooting and maintenance
• Hanging, prepping, and sanding drywall
• Electrical repairs
• Upkeep and repair of appliances

• Assisting with snow removal

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Demonstrated plumbing, electrical, or carpentry skills required
• Must be available on-call for emergencies on evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle and travel required,
• Able to troubleshoot minor electrical problems within various types of fixtures and equipment
• Required to work on ladders, lift to a height up to 85’

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years’ experience in site maintenance required
