Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of maintenance tasks at our apartment communities. You will address service requests, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure safety and cleanliness across common areas and grounds.

The role requires a positive, resident-focused approach, strong technical skills, and the ability to work with a team and supervisor to meet budget guidelines and high standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience, preferably in apartments.
• EPA certification Type I and II preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the property.
• Able to accommodate rotating on-call schedule; weekend/holiday work.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances and all systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs promptly and thoroughly.
• Assist Supervisor with inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
• Maintain excellent customer service with residents and staff.
• Keep a clean and safe work area and follow safety policies.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and logs.
• Assist in move-in/move-out processes and routine repairs.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergencies.
