Job summary

NM Residential is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at an apartment community in Ohio. The role covers plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, painting, and drywall to ensure property standards and compliance.

Responsibilities include responding to resident work orders, preparing vacants, maintaining exteriors and grounds, on-call duties, and regular trainings. Valid driver’s license required; EPA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of prior maintenance experience is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required; EPA Universal Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, painting, and drywall issues.
• Respond to and prioritize resident work orders, ensuring timely completion.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents, meeting company standards and checklist requirements.
• Maintain exterior grounds, including snow removal and pool maintenance.
• Conduct property walk-throughs to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform on-call duties as scheduled and respond promptly to emergencies.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.
