Job summary

LyvWell Apartments is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service our Columbus-area properties. You will perform HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, and machinery maintenance while ensuring high levels of resident satisfaction and safety.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in commercial or multi-unit property environments, strong customer service, and good communication skills. On-site work with weekend availability as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in commercial property or multi-unit residential property.
• High School Diploma or GED required; 3–4 years can offset minimum educational requirements.
• Preferred HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing certifications.
• Valid driver’s license may be required depending on property needs.
• Must communicate clearly in English; multilingual candidates are a plus.
• Weekend availability may be required.
• Computer and smartphone literacy expected.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC repairs, cleaning, and replacements.
• Repair and replace plumbing components (sinks, toilets, faucets).
• Carpentry tasks: repair/install doors, shelves, counters, locks.
• Paint drywall and plaster; touch-up as needed.
• Electrical work: lighting, wiring, switches, outlets.
• Maintain machinery: chillers, belts, pumps, fans.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents.
• Coordinate with team and schedule tasks.
