Job summary

BG Staffing is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to join a multifamily housing community. The role focuses on maintaining appearance, function, and resident satisfaction, with tasks spanning plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, carpentry, and make-readies.

You will handle work orders, troubleshoot issues, and ensure units are move-in ready. The position offers a Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM schedule, a $22.00/hour pay rate, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Apartment maintenance experience required.
• Strong knowledge of general maintenance functions and repair techniques.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, and carpentry.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must possess and maintain your own tools.
• Professional attitude with excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Perform general maintenance and repair tasks throughout the community.
• Troubleshoot and complete basic plumbing repairs.
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues.
• Perform appliance diagnostics and repairs.
• Complete carpentry, drywall, painting, and general upkeep projects.
• Assist with apartment turns and make-ready preparation.
• Ensure vacant units are move-in ready according to company standards.
• Maintain property grounds and common areas as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
