Job summary

CTH Recruiting LLC is seeking a dependable Maintenance Tech to support a multi-family apartment community. The role involves turns, basic repairs, and preventive maintenance to ensure quality units before move-in.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in maintenance, with basic plumbing/electrical skills. On-site position with on-call rotation and full-time hours. Benefits include health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of apartment, make-ready, or general maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, and general repairs.
• HVAC certifications preferred, but not required.
• CMMS or maintenance work-order system experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment turns, including painting, touch-ups, minor repairs, and unit preparation.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs.
• Inspect vacant units and identify needed repairs or replacements.
• Complete work orders and assist with preventive maintenance.
• Ensure apartments meet quality and safety standards before move-in.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist the maintenance and property management teams as needed.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.

Maintenance Tech

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: On-Site | On-Call Rotation Required

About the Position

We're looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Tech to help maintain our apartment community. Responsibilities include apartment turns, work orders, preventive maintenance, and general repairs. Previous apartment, make-ready, or general maintenance experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment turns, including painting, touch-ups, minor repairs, and unit preparation
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs
• Inspect vacant units and identify needed repairs or replacements
• Complete work orders and assist with preventive maintenance
• Ensure apartments meet quality and safety standards before move-in
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist the maintenance and property management teams as needed
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of apartment, make-ready, or general maintenance experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, and general repairs
• HVAC, CPO, EPA certifications preferred, but not required
• CMMS or maintenance work-order system experience is a plus
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities
