Job summary

AREA TEMPS, INC. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to handle day-to-day maintenance and repairs for a luxury residential apartment community. You will respond to resident work orders, perform unit turns, and conduct preventative maintenance.

The role requires diagnosing plumbing, electrical, lighting and mechanical issues, basic appliance troubleshooting, drywall, painting, caulking, and safe, courteous service. On-call rotation welcomed.

Qualifications

• Experience performing residential maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to diagnose plumbing, electrical, lighting and mechanical issues.
• Capable of basic appliance troubleshooting and interior repairs.
• Experience with drywall, painting and caulking tasks.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident maintenance requests and work orders promptly and professionally.
• Perform apartment unit turns and prepare units for new residents.
• Diagnose and complete general plumbing, electrical, lighting, and mechanical repairs.
• Perform basic appliance troubleshooting and repairs.
• Complete drywall repair, patching, painting, caulking, and other interior repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance throughout apartments and common areas.
• Inspect units and property areas for maintenance or safety concerns.
• Assist with exterior and general property upkeep as needed.
• Respond professionally to resident maintenance concerns.
• Coordinate with property management and other maintenance personnel.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and properly document completed work orders.
• Respond to legitimate emergency maintenance calls during the scheduled on-call rotation.
• Run occasional property-related errands or pick up supplies as needed.

Job description

We have an immediate need for an experienced and dependable Maintenance Technician to handle day-to-day maintenance and repairs for a luxury residential apartment community. They will be responsible for completing resident work orders, apartment turns, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and general property upkeep while providing professional, courteous service to residents. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; however, you will be on-call rotation approximately every fifth week for evening and weekend emergencies.
