Job summary

Camden Development, Inc. in Houston seeks a Maintenance Technician to support our community. You will handle maintenance service requests, make-readies, groundskeeping, pool maintenance and preventative maintenance while delivering outstanding customer service to residents and guests.

You’ll work with the maintenance supervisor, prep vacant units, perform electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks, and document work in Onesite. A valid driver’s license and ability to on-call are required.

Qualifications

• Six months of maintenance experience preferred.
• High School Diploma preferred; trade school certification desired.
• EPA Type I, Type II or Universal certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete service requests promptly.
• Coordinate with supervisor to prioritize tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and vendors.
• Identify safety hazards and report or correct them.
• Perform preventative maintenance on community equipment.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in and repairs.
