Windsor Communities is seeking a Service Technician II for Windsor at Cambridge Park in Cambridge, MA. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, work orders, unit turnover, and on-call emergency repairs in a busy apartment community.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in apartment maintenance, strong hands-on skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related trades, and the ability to work independently or with a team. Training, growth opportunities, and competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED; technical training or certifications in relevant fields preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of apartment maintenance or related experience.
• Proficient with hand and power tools; strong HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication abilities.

Aufgaben

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
• Complete work orders efficiently and close them out within 24 hours; use Yardi system.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents, including painting, cleaning, and necessary repairs.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests during on-call shifts; weekend work required.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life-safety) to ensure proper operation.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain a clean, PPE-enabled work environment.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment; request replacements as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and rounds; use devices and tablets.
• Interact professionally with residents, contractors, vendors, and the property management team.
