Job summary

WinnCompanies is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician for Calvin Mowbray Park and Stephen Camper Park, a 190-unit affordable housing community in Cambridge, MD. You will handle maintenance across units, common areas, office spaces, grounds, and parking lots.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with on-call duty as needed, and pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. Relevant experience in electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC is preferred.

Qualifications

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic familiarity with computers and tablets.
• Availability for on-call activity during off hours.
• Ability to speak and understand basic English.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs in appliances, carpentry, hardware, masonry, painting, basic electrical, basic plumbing, and basic HVAC.
• Complete assigned service requests and repairs per company procedures.
• Assist in preparing vacant apartments for market-ready status.
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal including snow removal, landscaping, and trash management.
• Be available for on-call activity during off-hours and emergencies as scheduled.
