Job summary

Windsor Communities seeks an Apartment Service Tech II for Element 47 by Windsor and Centric LoHi by Windsor in Denver, CO. You will perform routine maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs, and prepare units for new residents.

This role requires at least 2 years in apartment maintenance, ability to handle on-call rotations, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training or certifications in HVAC/plumbing/electrical preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years in apartment maintenance or related field.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Strong HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance experience.
• Excellent problem solving and attention to detail; able to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience using smart devices and property management software.
• EPA Type II certification preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• CPO certification preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds; stand, walk, and climb stairs/ladders.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance: plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, appliance repairs.
• Maintain curb appeal and pool/spa/fountains.
• Complete work orders efficiently; close within 24 hours using Yardi.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents (painting, cleaning, repairs).
• Respond to emergency on-call repairs; weekend work required.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems.
• Ensure safety compliance; maintain clean, PPE-driven workspace.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment; coordinate replacements.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and rounds using devices.
• Interact professionally with residents and vendors; support company values.
• Collaborate with property management to resolve issues.
