AppleOne Employment Services in Piru, CA is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Tech I for a direct hire opportunity. The role involves supporting apartment maintenance, preventative upkeep, repairs, and inspections across common areas to ensure safe, attractive living environments.

The position offers a collaborative team setting with opportunities to work across multiple trades. Requirements include 1-2 years of maintenance experience, valid California driver’s license, and the ability to lift up

Formación

• 1-2 years of maintenance, facilities, apartment maintenance, or skilled trades experience preferred.
• General knowledge of building maintenance practices including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and safety procedures.
• Ability to use proper tools and equipment used in building and maintenance trades.
• Ability to meet physical requirements: walk, climb stairs/ladders, lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Perform general maintenance and repairs in apartments and common areas (plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry).
• Complete maintenance and make-ready work in vacant apartments for occupancy.
• Conduct daily inspections of interior and exterior areas and building systems.
• Respond to after-hours maintenance requests and address safety concerns.
• Maintain maintenance supplies, logs, and files; document work orders.
• Coordinate with Resident Manager, Property Supervisor, vendors, and service providers to complete repairs and obtain bids.
