Job summary

BeMore Staffing is seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians for apartment communities in the Baltimore area. The role involves electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repair tasks, with HVAC/ EPA certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities include maintaining units, responding to resident requests, and performing preventative maintenance. Candidates should have basic tools and be able to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification preferred; EPA certification is a plus.
• At least six months of maintenance experience in apartment communities or similar settings.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and ability to maintain/repair components.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation required.
• Background check required.
• Own basic hand tools for daily tasks.
• Capable of working autonomously or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, appliance service, carpentry, masonry and painting.
• Maintain and repair structural elements like fixtures, doors, cabinetry, walls and outdoor areas.
• Provide excellent service to residents, clients and colleagues.
• Address resident service requests promptly and professionally.
• Ensure units meet standards before new tenant move-ins.
• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance annually.
• Support groundskeeping activities when needed.
• Contribute to special projects as directed by management.
