Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a part-time role with a 10:00 am–3:00 pm shift, Monday through Friday. The position involves general maintenance, repair and preventative tasks across facilities, with occasional outdoor work and exposure to varying weather conditions.

The role requires experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural and appliance repair, plus the ability to read safety rules and procedure manuals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or some college credits; or related experience.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural and appliance repair experience are essential.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals; write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Operates tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with team members.
• Identifies and reports broken equipment or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Keeps work area and equipment clean and in safe condition; meets safety regulations.
• Performs preventative maintenance on machinery and building/grounds as required.
• Maintains positive customer service attitude in interactions with staff and residents.
