Job summary

NHE, Inc. on Johns Island, SC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee apartment community maintenance, make-ready processes and preventive maintenance. You will supervise staff, coordinate with the Community Manager, manage service requests and ensure safety standards are met.

Responsibilities include budgeting input, vendor coordination, scheduling, and assisting with recruiting and training to maintain high-quality amenities for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment maintenance and supervisory duties.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification required.
• CAMT certification preferred.
• Experience with boilers, plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems.
• Painting experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site maintenance staff and schedule activities.
• Coordinate with Community Manager and office team on move-ins/move-outs and service requests.
• Prepare and prioritize service requests and make-readies; monitor progress and quality.
• Direct safety training and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Assist in budget planning and vendor management for repairs.
