Job summary

Princeton Management in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily apartment maintenance operations, uphold company standards, and ensure tasks are completed with professionalism.

You will supervise a team including technicians and groundskeepers, conduct regular inspections, coordinate requests, mentor staff, and partner with the property manager to maintain safety and resident satisfaction, with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of apartment maintenance experience.
• Experience supervising and leading a maintenance team.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and carpentry.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff and management.
• Certifications (HVAC, plumbing) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance team activities.
• Work hands on with staff in all maintenance areas.
• Inspect apartments, common areas and amenities to identify issues and resolve promptly.
• Coordinate and prioritize maintenance requests for timely completion.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff for development.
• Enforce safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
