Job summary

Princeton Management is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the apartment maintenance team and ensure timely, high-quality work. You will perform hands-on duties across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry while promoting a culture of safety and customer service.

You will inspect properties, prioritize requests, train staff, and coordinate with the property manager to resolve resident concerns. A minimum of 2 years in apartment maintenance and leadership experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in apartment maintenance.
• Proven experience in supervising and leading a maintenance team.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general carpentry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate with residents, staff, and management.
• Vocational or technical training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the maintenance team, technicians, groundskeepers, and staff.
• Work hands-on with staff in all maintenance areas.
• Conduct regular inspections of apartments, common areas, and amenities to identify issues.
• Prioritize and coordinate maintenance requests for timely completion.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff to promote continuous learning.
• Order and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with the property manager to address resident concerns and ensure satisfaction.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures to maintain a safe workplace.
