Job summary

Princeton Management is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the on-site team, ensuring daily apartment maintenance tasks are completed and safety standards are upheld. You will inspect properties, coordinate with the property manager, and mentor staff to deliver high-quality service.

The role emphasizes strong residential support and safety, with opportunities for professional development and advancement within the company. This is a full-time on-site position in Michigan.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of apartment maintenance experience.
• Experience supervising and leading a maintenance team.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, plus carpentry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication with residents, staff, and management.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus; relevant certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance team activities.
• Work hands-on with staff in all maintenance areas.
• Conduct regular inspections of apartments and common areas.
• Prioritize and manage maintenance requests for timely completion.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff to foster learning and development.
• Order and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with property manager to address resident concerns.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe workplace.
