AGM Management in Houston, TX is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team and keep a 125-unit property comfortable and safe. You will perform routine repairs, inspect units and common areas, and respond to maintenance requests to ensure resident satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs, plus strong problem-solving, communication, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Proven general maintenance and repair experience in residential settings.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliance repair.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and task prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, HVAC, drywall, and other equipment.
• Inspect units and common areas to identify maintenance issues and safety compliance.
• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and complete work orders.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment for maintenance tasks.
• Prepare apartments for new residents, including painting and cleaning.
• Coordinate contractors and review invoices while adhering to cost guidelines.
• Oversee capital improvements and provide regular updates.
• Purchase materials and ensure proper receipt and documentation.
